G.O’Donoghue & Son now trading as CleaningProducts.ie are a family run business for the last 35 years. Gerry O’Donoghue, now in his eighties started up the business in 1971 as a sole trader selling cleaning equipment and products from his garage in Clontarf, Dublin 3.

He then moved the business to Fairview, north Dublin where it operated for the next 25 years approximately.

Gerry’s experience stemmed from his many years employed by multinational cleaning companies – 3M, Electolux, Johnston Wax and many others. The company has always prided itself in providing top class cleaning and maintenance products backed by a no-nonsense practical knowledge support.

Louis O’Donoghue (son) joined the company in 1974, a young salesman with appetite to sell and grow the business, all the while adding new products to the range.

Listening to our customers feedback we were made aware that the most important consideration when purchasing equipment and products is the backup and knowledge provided to them thereby ensuring that they get the best results from the equipment and systems provided.

In more recent times with the advent of new and more sophisticated flooring the customers requirements are more complex. This is where we come into our own. We have the knowledge and experience to enable our clients to maintain and care for all floors types in the proper manner.
